Designing one’s own wedding invitations is no easy feat for a graphic designer, but the perfect opportunity to pull out all the stops and use fancy printing methods. Printed on Colorplan paper by the talented team at Aardvark Letterpress.

The Objective

Create a stationery suite that sets the tone for the event. I decided to give myself parameters and created ‘inkless invitations’ for a tactile experience.

The Solution

The thick, uncoated paper is letter pressed with rose gold foil and features large blind embossed type. A custom map was included to get out-of-town guests excited about the upcoming weekend. The ‘heartzel’ logo appears as a small detail throughout, on the wax seal and even as a neon sign! Event photography by Luke & Mallory.
